Following the Indiana Fire Hall (West)'s completion, the Indiana Fire Association hired Thomas R. Harley Architects again. This time, a fire station would be constructed in a new central location in Indiana Borough. Located on the main street of Indiana, PA, the new fire station will feature living quarters, equipment storage, a multiple fire truck garage, community spaces, and administrative offices.

"Indiana architect Tom Harley, designer of the new station, said the fire company wants the general contractor to be an Indiana County firm, or for 50 percent of the value of the project (including materials and sub-contractors) to be from Indiana County."
